I am an Interior Design graduate from Torrens University Melbourne, Australia. I have always been an admirer of unique spaces and drawn to historical buildings and objects; I find uncovering the past to be immensely inspiring. My love for interior design has developed over the years through my creative personality and my ability to see interior design as a vital component in people’s lives. My curiosity and passion for design will continue to grow as I learn more about the world of interiors and how it can have a positive impact on our lives.
Mordialloc Cellar Door
This is a hospitality project located in the coastal suburb of Mordialloc, 30 kilometres southeast of Melbourne. The brief was to address the existing cellar door and to revitalise it. A part of the brief was to add on a separate eatery next door. Tati’s is the quirky neighbour that embodies a playful personality. The idea was to have ‘moments’ in the design offering different spots for customers to dine. The limestone custom bar and the joinery finishes reflect the local coastal elements and the weathered boats in the nearby creek.
Double Storey Apartment
This project is a residential design for a double storey apartment in Sydney. It is part of a new building to replace Blues Point Tower, close to North Sydney. I have designed this apartment for my client, Carla Harper. A part of this design brief was to present an explanation for each space in the apartment. This gave me the opportunity to add in a personal exploration which provided a thorough reflection of the client. I have taken inspiration from her Danish background and also taken cues from Sydney’s natural landscape, bringing in touches of bold blues and beige tones reminiscent of the surrounding coastline.
