Hi. My name is Rose O'Beid and I have recently completed a Diploma in Interior Design and Decoration. Over the past 20 years, I have worked as an Architectural Draftsperson on a part-time basis. Whilst working as a draftsperson for ‘MARTINE COOPER Interior Design’ I came to realise that my true passion was in the world of interior design.
The Rocks Project
The brief was to design a retail store for an online business of our choice.
I chose Ronza George Jewellery Designer who specialises in hand made Swarovski Jewellery pieces and whose primary focus is on bridal jewellery.
SkyTeam
This project was optional and begun December 2019-March 2020.
SkyTeam is an alliance group. Billy Blue was the only university in Australia (out of 5 globally) invited to participate in this design competition.
We all worked as a team to meet the brief requirements.
The brief was to create an adaptable design that could be used in all member lounges globally, where each lounge would display opportunities for localisation through specific food and beverage choices, select furniture pieces, as well as indoor plants relevant to that location.
