My name is Lukasz, I was born in Poland in a small town and always dream about exploring the world.
I have a Masters Degree in Architecture and Town Planning from the University of Technology in Wroclaw Poland, and a Diploma of Interior Design from Torrens University in Brisbane, Australia .
Like I said, I always want to travel and that’s what I did.
When I was in my third year of University, I started working in an architecture office as an AutoCad Drafter. A year after, I worked in Barcelona, Spain where I completed an internship in another architecture office. After graduation, I got a job proposition in Wroclaw Council Town Planning office as a Junior Town Planner. After 3 years, I moved to Canada, where I worked as an AutoCad drafter and designer in one of the biggest furniture companies in Canada.
Today I live in Brisbane where I’m beginning new career as an Interior Designer, and I love it!
Kitchen Design
In this concept kitchen I tried to understand how to build kitchen cabinets from plywood, mostly because I never used this material for cabinets before.
I decided on matt black cabinetry fronts with edges without tape to show structure of plywood and infinity engineered stone to the bench tops and wall behind stove.
For a pop of colour I added yellow Smeg appliances.
Pattern Design
On this project we had to create patterns based on Native Australia flora or fauna. After many sketches I decided to make my pattern based on kangaroo. This pattern could be used on upholstery, window treatment, wallpaper and more.
