I have a passion for fashion and problem-solving, collaboration and learning. I am self-motivated, a fast learner with great time management and attention to detail. I have a Bachelor of Fashion Design from Billy Blue College and concluded my studies in May 2020. This project consisted of creating and elaborating three innovative pieces for one collection with their respective cost sheets and tech/specs sheets for each garment.
For this collection, I decided to use natural dyes, organic fabrics and recycled materials to elaborate the garments. The garments are season-less with functional pockets and ending with roll-up cuffs and separated pieces that are connected by a zipper or buttons. This collection is fun and offers freedom of movement for children aged 2 to 6 years old.
MiniKin
This project required me to create a brand and elaborate two books: a merchandise book and a technical book. The merchandise book includes all the brand information such as brand essence, mission, niche, target market, fabrics, competitors, range plan, sales plan, collection and others. The technical book includes tech/specs sheets. In addition, I created a look book for the garments manufactured.
For the 2021 collection, I created a brand: MiniKin children's wear for everyday that provides new and high-quality sustainable clothes which are multipurpose and long lasting. The garments are for boys and girls from 2 to 6 years old. My inspiration for this collection was the education in early age, and the materials used in these garments are organic and recycled.
